Socialist Resistance did not print a byline field. The names here were read out of the articles themselves, from the paper's own house styles — “… writes Andy Stowe”, “Dave Kellaway explains…”, a name standing alone at the top. That works for about a third of the archive and it can misread: a name may belong to someone quoted rather than the author. Treat these as a finding aid, not as an attribution — the article itself is the authority. A few, where the author has told us directly, are recorded rather than inferred.
