The vote for Brexit and the election of Trump have opened the road to a wave of xenophobia, racism and antisemitism. Open acts of antisemitism and racism are on the rise in the US, with perpetrators borrowing Trump's rhetoric. The accusation of antisemitism against Corbyn for supporting Palestinian rights is not just wrong, it is dangerous. It minimises and obscures the real rise of antisemitic attacks. The fight against antisemitism, racism and the the far right is an urgent task for the left to unite around, as a central element of the fight in defence of refugees, migrants and the freedom of movement of people.
