Over the years, workers in Britain and Europe have fought for and won some fundamental rights at work which are currently protected at the level of the EU; from maternity and paternity leave, to guaranteed paid holidays. These are currently protected at the level of the EU. These basic rights are far from sufficient - they need to be built on and expanded. A Tory Brexit, however, promises 'a bonfire of workers’ rights, brutal welfare cuts, crippling tax hikes and devastating job losses”. We must stop it.
